For the last 20 years, IHRDC has delivered SCORM courses that are hosted on regional world wide servers. These courses allow administrators to have the most up-to-date content on their systems without having to go through the trouble of making image, video and text re-uploads on a quarterly basis. We call these stub based courses.
Your learning team uploads these stub courses as a proper SCORM zip file, but only uploads the portion that communicates with the learning management system (LMS). All course and SCORM file functionality updates happen from one of approximately >220 IHRDC’s worldwide content servers powered by Cloudflare.
At any point when IHRDC updates a course, a video, text or an image, your learners get the update while your organization does not incur costs associated with uploading new courses and benefits from having the newest content available when it is released.
