Depending on the product, our courses have different structures, and number of attempts:
- IPIMS Action Learning (AL) is explained in detail in the following article: Understanding the IPIMS Action Learning course structure

IPIMS Background Learning (BL) consists of topic-level courses with subtopics, which can be viewed as thumbnails when you enter the course. Each subtopic includes a content section followed by an assessment.
- Learners have the option to repeat the assessment up to three times.
- The final course score will be calculated by averaging the score of all subtopics.

NOTE: Some companies are setup to take individual Background Learning subtopics as standalone courses. In this case, learners also have the option to repeat the assessment up to three times, and the score in your last attempt will serve as the final course score.
- Operations & Maintenance (OM) Each course consists of a content section followed by a Post-Test. Learners have the option to repeat the Post-Test up to three times.

- Clean Energy & Sustainability (CES) Each course consists of a content section followed by an Assessment. Learners have the option to repeat the Assessment up to three times.

- Business Essentials (BEES) courses include a content section, sometimes with partial tests, followed by a final exam. Learners have unlimited attempts for the final exam.
