Issue Summary:
Courses may not start properly or may not transmit courses status and score properly. This happens when your LMS is in Trusted Site, Intranet or protected mode.
Who is Affected?
If your LMS is in "Intranet" or "Trusted site" mode or if your browsers are set to "Protected Mode," you are probably affected by this issue. You can determine if your learning system is in one of these modes by right clicking on a page on your LMS and selecting "properties." You will see the following window. In the Zone section, if you see "Trusted sites," "Intranet Zone," or "Protected Mode: On," your learners are probably affected by this issue.

Symptoms:
Learners are not able to properly launch courses. Once they are able to properly launch courses, upon completion, they don't see their scores in the learning system.
Root Cause and Solutions:
IHRDC's courses contain only a portion of the content on your LMS. This allows you to get the newest content without having to load it each month that new and updated content is available. With learning systems that charge for the size of the courses you store, you also save with this style of course. Updates to Internet Explorer have changed how courses can send information back to your learning servers. Additionally, if your company has changed browsers or certain zone, this usually can cause problems with these courses. The change in Internet Explorer was made in November or December of 2015. Your corporate IT department may not have made the update after that time.
Setting some of IHRDC's sites to "Trusted site" across the organization or to specific learners will solve this issue.
